Gold is the base currency of Battle Legion and is used to deploy and upgrade units. The Gold costs for upgrading units get progressively higher based on the level of the unit.

Gold is earned from winning battles, Wagons and from emptying the Gold Cart in the Battle tab. Each victorious battle grants Gold to Commanders and players will keep earning Gold for wins, until they reach the daily Gold limit.

The Gold Cart replenishes Gold and must be emptied to receive the Gold stored inside. The Gold Cart is affected by the daily Gold limit, and will stop regenerating Gold once the limit is reached.
